The IFHAA is a non-profit Association with the aim of fostering the practices of Family History within the Australian Genealogical Community. Membership of the IFHAA is free of charge and open to all people with an interest in Australian Family and Local History.
All pages on this site have been contributed by IFHAA members and are the results of their Genealogical or historical research. You will find Family and Local History resources including The IFHAA Biographies Library, Local Histories Library, Family Photograph Exchange, Cemetery Transcripts, Certificate Exchange and links to many more resources for Historians with an Australian Interest.
12 March 2006 - These pages are currently being revised to bring them up to date. All email addresses on the site have been modified - changing the @ symbol to the words@. In order to use these email addresses you must repace the words@ with the @ symbol. This has been done in order to try to reduce the incidence of spam robots harvesting email addresses from the site.
To make available FREE of charge as many resources as possible for Family Historians and any other person with an interest in Australian History. In order to make this possible the IFHAA is free to join and submissions of content from members and other interested parties will be considered for inclusion on the IFHAA site. Copyright of original content is retained by by the person who submitted or created it. IFHAA does not take control of copyright from the original creator.
