CONGRESS 2000

9th Australasian Congress on Genealogy and Heraldry - Wednesday September 27 to Sunday October 1 2000 - Perth, Western Australia. It is now just on 6 months to this exciting and informative genealogical event.

"LET RECORDS SPEAK" This theme is developed in three streams:
Yesterday - Traces of the Past
Today - Capturing the Present
Tomorrow - Looking Ever Forward

There is also a pre-Congress tour of the goldfields and a post-Congress wildflower tour.

Shipping lists and resources
Why not share your shipping lists with all researchers. The IFHAA is seeking submissions from contributors with shipping and shipping list details. Anything from full passenger lists to single entries will be gladly received. Any copyright that may be held will be maintained and full credit for details will be acknowledged.

Shipping Resources
Scott Brown currently has got details of around 4000 shipping arrivals for Victoria, NSW and Queensland and a few passenger lists. Along with around another 1000 Queensland arrivals to load up before working out how to flesh out the Victorian arrivals. He also has, on his web site, around 35 passenger lists for a number of small ships, taken from the Sydney Morning Herald. These are located at:
