| Researcher | Project Details |
| My 2 current projects 1. All
Aboriginals from the Budawang Tribe - taking in the mid
South Coast (Conjola Lake to Batemans Bay) and out to
Braidwood and Nelligen. Many of the Families do branch into
Wreck Bay, Nowra and further south to Moruya of course Have 500 in
BK5 at present |
|
| I am currently doing a project on the convict ship 'JANUS' which arrived in 1820 in view of writing a factional book on crew members and convict women onboard | |
| Lesley Muir | Lesley is compiling biographies of all
those who enlisted for service in World War I from the
Canterbury (NSW) Municipality. She currently has over
1500 names, but would like to make the biographies as
full as possible (with photo). Information sought and
exchanged. The completeness of the biographies will
depend largely on the contributions of family members who,
by this stage, are probably spread far and wide across
Australia. Suburbs are: Hurlstone Park, Earlwood, Campsie Canterbury, Belmore, Croydon Park, Lakemba, Moorefields, Punchbowl, Undercliffe |
| Trin Truscett | I am building a data base of everyone who was born, married and/or had children in the first forty years in NSW. Those children often lead into the next decade or so which is why I describe my interest as pre-gold rush NSW. |
| Sharyn Seaboryne | I am compiling a one name database for the surname LUCK in Tasmania/Victoria pre-1900. |
| Sally Hopwood | Cemetery records and local history for West Coast of Tasmania towns. |
| Diane Westerhuis | I am writing a factional account of convict histories of James Smith, Hannah Haywood, the Solomons and Wheelers |
| Max Carrick | I have prepared an index of parts of
the Southern Highlands in NSW which presently over 1250
names. I am happy to add contributions and corrections
from IFHAA members. http://www.southernx.com.au/southigh.html |
| Andrew Howell | I publish a family genealogy newsletter each month for family members and people conected to the Howell family |
| Scott Brown | I am currently building a database of Convicts and Came free from 1788 onwards. First release on CD will be 1788-1800. This will be followed by individual decade updates. This includes marriages, children, crime and court details as well as biographical info and will be fully searchable by key words |
| Scott Brown | I am currently researching for a book on the history of Adelong NSW. Any contribution of relevant material will be acknowledged in the final product. |
| Kerrie | I am researching the lives of soldiers who fought at the Battle of Waterloo and who came to Australia either with their army regiments or as emigrants. Particularly interested in the ones who died here. Aim is to eventually put out a small booklet with info on each soldier and refer reader to further info or family contacts. |
