Australian Colonists Series™ Volume 1 1788-1800
Special Release CD-Rom (Version 1.0 html) - Released in 2000 )

Following over five years of intense research (up to the 2000 release) we released an interim version of the Australian Colonists Series™ Volume 1 1788-1800 on CD-Rom. This CD-Rom contains a biographical and genealogical database of the people who came to Australia between the years 1788 and 1800, their children and grandchildren. The database has almost 10,000 individual entries and gives details of almost 14,000 people. As an interim release about 50% of the entries are complete and contain details such as status on arrival (convict, military etc) Birth Death and Marriage details, conviction details land grant and other biographical material. The incomplete entries contain, as a minimum - name, ship of arrival, status on arrival, conviction details (if convict).

The database is indexed in a number of ways such as alphabetical by name, ship lists, Index of NSW Corps members, Royal Marines, Executions in NSW as well as indexes of people who spent time on Norfolk Island and those that went to Van Diemens Land.
