Convict Ship arrivals - 1812
Four convict ships sailed for the colonies in 1812. Two arrived in Sydney carrying a total of 200 male and 127 female convicts. One arrived in Hobart with 200 male convicts. The fourth, carrying 40 female convicts was taken by the American privateer 'Holkar' on 30 November 1812 and taken in to New York as a prize.
