Convict Ship arrivals - 1822
Sixteen convict transports arrived in the colonies in 1822, nine to Sydney, five to Hobart and two that discharged convicts at both Hobart and Sydney. They carried 1530 male & 112 female convicts to Sydney and 788 male & 98 female convicts to Hobart. An all up total of 2528 convicts in 1822
