Convict Ship arrivals â€“ 1823

Seventeen convict transports arrived in the colonies in 1823. Ten came direct to Sydney, four direct to Hobart and three that discharged convicts in both Sydney and Hobart. They carried 1539 male & 202 female convicts to Sydney and 931 male & 117 female convicts to Hobart. An all up total of 2789 convicts in 1823.
