Convict Ship arrivals – 1828
Twenty four convict transports arrived in the colonies in 1828, sixteen came direct to Sydney and eight came to Hobart. They carried 2359 male & 194 female convicts to Sydney and 1028 male & 172 female convicts to Hobart. An all up total of 3753 convicts arrived in 1828.
