Francis Cock committed his crime in partnrship with Thomas Abell. Both men were transported to the colony of New South Wales on board the Britannia in 1791. They were convicted of stealing cloth, handkerchiefs, shawls and stockings from Jeremiah Baker and Thomas Godden
