1 August 1790 - Sent to Norfolk Island on the 'Surprise'
On Norfolk Island Elizabeth and William worked a 10 acre farm overlooking Balls Bay. William disappeared from the records after 1802. The family had, by this time, returned to Port Jackson.

Elizabeth was buried at the Elizabeth Street Burial Ground. Her tombstone was moved to Rookwood Cemetery when the Elizabeth Street burial ground was cleared to make way for Central Station.
