Edward was a weaver, late of Uley, Gloucestershire when convicted
September/November 1788 - Worked as a sawyer on the 'Sirius'
March 1790 - Sent to Norfolk Island on the 'Sirius'
18 November 1791 - His time expired, Edward refused to work. He was then ordered to receive only 3 days provisions and to be sent to Port Jackson. He wished to settle on Norfolk Island but Commandant King refused to give permission for this.
8 December 1791- Despite refusal to be treated as a settler he held 12 acres at Grenville Vale, Norfolk Island
August 1806 - The Victualling records listed Edward as a watchman
17 September 1807 - Edward, his wife and five children sailed for Van Diemens Land on the 'City of Edinburgh'
October 1808 - Listed as holding 30 acres at Argyle, VDL
