NOTES: John signed the Marriage Register under his alias of Forrester and Susannah used her alias of Gibbs. This use of alias confuses the records somewhat. In August 1789 he was in the Night Watch as Archer and received a 30 acre land grant at Petersham Hill on 1 April 1794 as Forrester. He and his wife were robbed (as Archer) of an amount of clothing in 1799. As Archer he was a clerk to Henry Kable between at least 1806 and 1814. Buried at St Phillip's, Sydney, NSW
