Martha was sentenced along with Sarah COWDEN and Sarah STORER - all three charged with the same crime. All three women were held in Newgate Gaol.
April 1789 - Again brought before the bench at the Old Bailey and offered a pardon onteh condition she accept transportation for life. Martha and the two Sarahs refused the offer. Martha commented that "Before I will go abroad for my natural life, I will sooner die ...I think it very hard; I will not accept it." She relented at a later date and was embarked on the 'Lady Juliana' transport on 12 June 1789
August 1790 - Sent from Port Jackson to Norfolk Island on the 'Surprise'
February 1791 - Listed as sharing a sow with John FENDLOW (First Fleet) and Thomas NEWBY (Second Fleet) at Phillipburgh.
March 1793 - Returned to Sydney on board the 'Chesterfield'
1811 - Listed in the General Muster as resident in New South Wales

Martha was buried as Martha MAUN, a pauper aged 95 (she was actually closer to 84 if you check the age given in the 1828 census)
