16 July 1790 - For using seed corn as food he was flogged (under the name of Phillip DEVIN)
1791 - From this time on Thomas appears to have used the name of Phillip DIVINE in most instances. The alias of Phillip DIVINE was used when the children were christened in 1791, 1794, 1796 and 1798.
May 1794 - As Thomas TENNANT he was employed in jobbing work
9 March 1805 - Thomas and Ann had separated by this time and Thomas, as Phillip DIVINE, sailed for Van Diemens Land on the 'Buffalo'
1806 - he had returned to Port Jackson and was recorded as Phillip DIVINE (per 'Alexander') a labourer
1814 - Recorded as a landholder at Windsor

1821 - There was a Thomas DIVINE at Punch Bowl, Herdsmans Cove, VDL. This was Thomas and Ann's son. Edward lived at Wilberforce in NSW
