Charlotte 1788

The First Fleet transport ship Charlotte Convicts and Free on the transport ship Charlotte - 1788
The First Fleet sailed from Portsmouth in England in May 1787 and comprised eleven ships (2 naval vessels, 3 store ships and six transports). The Charlotte was one of the transports and carried 88 male convicts and 20 female convicts (according to the book "The Convict Ships" by Charles Bateson). Through my research I have identified 113 convicts associated with this voyage of the charlotte.
