Lady Penrhyn 1788

The First Fleet transport ship Lady Penrhyn.

Convicts and Free on the transport ship Lady Penrhyn – 1788
The First Fleet sailed from Portsmouth in England in May 1787 and comprised eleven ships (2 naval vessels, 3 store ships and six transports). The Lady Penrhyn was one of the transports and carried 101 female convicts (according to the book "The Convict Ships" by Charles Bateson). Through my research I have identified 108 convicts associated with this voyage of the Friendship.
Convicts on this List – 108
Free arrivals (including Ship’s crew) – 57
