Richard Robinson per Surry 1814

I am researching my family and stuck on finding which hulk Richard was imprisoned on from his sentencing at Middlesex Gaol Delivery in February 1813, until the Surry departed in early 1814. This voyage of the Surry was a disaster, with 36 on board dying of typhus. He had been sentenced to death for supposedly stealing three hams at 108 East Smithfield (near the Tower of London). His sentence was commuted to life and transportation to Port Jackson. On arrival he was given a ticket-of-leave and assigned to his wife Hannah Rae Robinson who had travelled out on the Broxbornbury with their four children, Mary Elizabeth (8), Richard (6), Louisa (4) and William Chowne (2). So the only time he actually served as a convict was from February 1813-July 1814.
I am 40,000 words into my book and this is a brick wall so far. Would appreciate any tips on Hulk Records

I have since been to the National Archives at Kew and discovered he was in Newgate until September when he was transferred with Thomas Blade to the hulk Retribution at Woolwich until just before Christmas when they were both sent to Portsmouth to board the Surry. They were on board the Surry for two months until it sailed on Feb 22 1814. Presumably they were used to help load the ship?
